お兄ちゃんと一緒に遊びたい､妹の気持ちがよーく伝わる､絵本です。お兄ちゃんが､あの手この手をつかって、こっそり部屋を抜け出そうとする様子が、笑いを誘います。一番すきなのは、「とちゅうでおしっこだなんていうなよ」と言われて､妹がひとりでトイレに入る場面です。やっと２人で遊びに行く時、妹がお兄ちゃんのシャツをしっかり握っていて､かわいらしいですね。

お兄ちゃんが妹に気付かれないように、遊びに行こうとしますが、妹はどうしてもおいて行かれたくありません。お兄ちゃんがあの手この手で逃げようとし、妹も一生懸命についていきます。こんなお兄ちゃん、こんな妹がいたらいいな。と思ってしまう一冊です。本当に、可愛いです！

この本は，あの手この手でこっそりひとりで外に遊びに行こうとするお兄ちゃんと，ついて行きたい妹とのお話．なんとかついて行こうとする妹がとてもかわいい．とうとう最後には，お兄ちゃんもあきらめて，一緒に虫取りに行くことになります．

お話はここで終わりますが，最後のページや背表紙に，お兄ちゃんが妹にトンボを採ってあげている絵があります．これがとてもかわいい．兄と妹の兄弟愛を感じ，ニコニコしてしまいます．この２つの絵があるために，お話に奥行きが生まれ，その後の兄と妹のことまで想像してしまいます．

１歳の妹のいる，３歳の長女も大好きな絵本です．
