軽音楽部を舞台とした話しですが音楽関係のコアなネタは抑えられてますし、部活シーンも今ひとつ物足りない感が有りましたが、何気にツボを突いたネタが有ったり、4コマ漫画としての構成もキッチリしており、学生の日常を描いた作品としてはまずまずの出来だと思いました。
ただ"ゆる〜りとした"、"ほんわかした"と言えば聞こえは良いけど、ただお茶しているばかりのぐうたらな部活シーン、練習より遊び優先な合宿シーンが続くのはマンネリであると言わざるを得ませんし、絵も同人ショップへ行けばお目に掛りそうな感じです。
という訳で作品としての評価は可も無く不可も無く。
訳の解らないネタやオチの四コマ漫画よりはシッカリとした作りですが、全体的にメリハリに欠けており、個人的には現在発売している２巻以降も買って読んでみようかというと微妙…って感じです。
まぁ、アニメ化…しかも京アニ・ブランドという事で人気は出るでしょうし、グッズなんかも瞬殺になるのは間違い無いですが、それはあくまで一過性…この作品を知らないのは損だと言える程の"名作"でもなければ"傑作"とも言えませんが、何気なく気楽に読んでキャラクターに共感できる人には良い作品だと思いますよ。

アニメが人気らしいので試しに購入。

が、
正直つまらない。
内容は同人誌レベルで、
ストーリーも何もない。

なのになぜこんなに人気が出たのか、
逆にアニメの方を見たくなった。

アニメから入った人には微妙かもしれません。
絵もアニメのものと違い、特徴らしい特徴が無く平凡な感じです。
ストーリーの方も音楽の描写は少ないですが、まあ4コマ漫画なのでこれぐらいでいいとは思います。
所々クスッとなるようなところもありますが、ギャグも構成も特記するようなおもしろさは無いように感じます。
大笑いできなくてもまったり読めればいいという人にはいいと思います。
ただ期待しすぎると空振ってしまうかも？
