ロードス島戦記の世界をソードワールドのルールでプレイするための追加ルールブック。
当然、基本ルールとなる「ＳＷルールブック完全版」が必須なのは言うまでもない。

内容としては、ロードスをプレイする上で最低限必要な歴史設定、キャラクターメイキング設定などと共に、ソードワールド本家ではなかった追加魔法、魔法の品、モンスターなどが掲載されている。
特に魔神戦争の部分がクローズアップされているだけあって、豊富なデーモンのデータが用意されている。
また、マンガ的活躍を実現する「超英雄」のルールもあり、ロードスの歴史上の英雄を割と簡単に再現することも可能。

だが、このワールドガイドが、ソードワールド本家に最も貢献している部分は、１０レベル以上の強敵モンスターを倒すために必須と思われる各種魔法アイテムが追加された部分かと思われる。
特に「アミュレット・オブ・カウンターマジック」と「ポーション・オブ・タフネス」は、冒険者側に死者を出さないようにしてモンスター討伐するには、ほぼ必須の魔法の品と思われる。
８レベル以上になってもなお冒険を続けている冒険者たちならば、このワールドガイドを導入しても（プレイヤーとしてもＧＭとしても）損はしないだろう。

◆　伝説５巻、外伝１巻。
◆新戦記３巻、外伝１巻。（以後、続刊…）

　これだけ本があるから、
キャラ、地図、歴史、そしてストーリーの紹介が欲しい！

　ＯＶＡ、ＴＶアニメを見たけど、
ロードス島って、どうなってるの？　という方にもオススメ。

　▼”ロードス島”小説のガイドブックとして。

　　　物語の舞台を、解説してあります。
　　　（歴史年表は、これが　公式になります）

　▼ソードワールドＲＰＧで遊ぶ、資料として。
　　追加のデータ＆ルールで、アレクラスト大陸にも応用ききます。

　　パーン、ディードリット、スパークやニース達…。
　彼らの世界を　知りたいなら、マスト・アイテムだ☆

この薄さでこの値段だと、高すぎると思います。
ほとんどの挿絵は、小説や漫画からの使い回しだし。

それから紹介されていない町・村がある。そういうところも知りたいのだが。
あと、裏話も載せて欲しい。
最初のPC9801版ロードス島戦記に登場した村やアイテムを抹消した理由とかね。
