文庫版のデビューから10年あまり。その間に蓄積されたデータとノウハウをぎゅっと詰め込み、装い新たにハードカバー版として登場した一冊が本書『ソード・ワールドRPG完全版』だ。ルールの見直しや新ルールの追加などがされているため、文庫版で遊び親しんだ人も、これからプレイしようと思っている人にもオススメできる。

ただ、残念なことに、諸処に含まれるコラムと巻末のチャート類はボリューム不足と言わざるを得ない。本書は、あくまでルールブックでしかないのだ。 小説・シナリオ集・リプレイ集・ワールドガイドなど、豊富なサプリメント類と合わせ読むことで、本書は初めてその真価を発揮すると言えよう。

文庫本からはじまった、ソートワールドのルールを集合・再編成した完全版
です。
ルールは、シンプルで分かりやすく、ＴＲＰＧが初めての人にも理解しやすい
良いシステムだと思います。
オーソドックスで癖の無い世界観もすんなりと入ることが出来ます。

ソードワールドが十数年経ても、廃れないのはシナリオ集・リプレイ集・小説などが次々と発表されていきサポートがしっかりしていることが、挙げられると思います。
この一冊だけで、ソードワールドを完全に網羅というわけではないのですが、今までプレイしてきた人、これからＴＲＰＧを始めようを思っている人にはお勧めの一冊です。

　文庫本より、ちょっと高い(^^;
でも、ＧＭ用のルールなら、こちらを薦めます。

　蛍光マーカー、赤ペン、付箋を駆使して、
自分好みに　改良できるから！

　「ロードス島ワールドガイド」の追加ルールも、
余白を利用して　書き込めるから！

　ＳＷのエラッタをチェックしてる私が言うから、
このコトは　間違いなし！

　（完全版でも、11刷以降は　かなりいい）

　※気軽に始めたい人、ビュジュアル重視の人は、
　　「カードＲＰＧ」の方をオススメします。
