この気象精霊シリーズ（続くので）は私達が気象レーダーやら何やらで予測しているお天気が実は精霊達に操作されているというお話。いきなり降ってきた夕立も精霊のせいにして・・・じゃなくて・・まあいいや。タイトル、正しい台風の起こし方、まあ実際には正しく起こしてないんだけどね☆この台風が日本を蹂躙していきます！主人公達の不手際で！さあ、それをどう収めていくのか楽しみな内容です。ギャグもおもしろく天気に関してのお勉強にもなります（難しいが）気象予報士を目指す方にはいいのでは？（笑）一見の価値有り。

　これは、正直読んでて勉強になります。ていっても覚えてても役には立ちません。なぜなら、天気の知識だから。しかし内容自体はおもしろい！！専門用語とかが時々混じってますが、そう言うのは前後の文章で気分でつかんでください（笑）

　この作品で1番注目して欲しいのは、イラスト！！マジで綺麗です。ともかく、買わなくても言いから本屋で一目見てやってください。それで気に入ったら買ってみるのもいいですよ？

『正しい台風の起こし方―気象精霊記』でございます。
シリーズ化されて、後に色々問題もあったようですが、とりあえず受賞作のこちらは単発作品としても随分楽しめます。

天気は精霊が操っている、という設定がまず凄いです。小説としては非常に理詰めです。
気象ネタですから、当然理系的知識が多数登場します。
登場人物である精霊たちがきっちり組織立てられています。良くも悪くも官僚的な作者の考え方が多少鼻につく部分もありますが、キャラクターたちがお役所的な小さくまとまった奴らではなく、主人公ミリィや相棒のユメミをはじめとしてぶっ飛んだキャラばかりなので、読んでいて楽しいです。
酒！がとにかく豪快なのも見どころです。

気象予報士の岸尾さんと上沢さんがインパクトあります。彼らみたいな気象予報士が現実にいたら！……イヤですね。
