6年半も続いているフルメタルパニックが本作で一つの節目を迎え、宗介とかなめの状況は本書で一変します。そして、これまで時間をかけて築き上げた彼らの世界がほとんど全て崩壊してしまいます。また崩壊はこれまでパラレルワールドのように存在し、終始笑いに満ち平和の象徴でもあった短編の世界をも巻き込みます（本書ではあの林水も登場します）。

まさしく怒涛の展開で目が離せませんでした。圧巻です。

私は蓬莱学園短編を執筆していた頃から賀東招二のファンでした。当時賀東招二は無名でしたが、真剣に人々を楽しませようとする姿勢が好きで彼に関心を持ちました。そして私は彼の物語を読んで何度も笑い、怒り、そして感動してきました。その結果、私はもう10年近く賀東招二を応援し続けてきました。

10年近く賀東招二のファンをやってきた読者の1人として、今回もきっと賀東招二は物語を上手くハッピーエンドへと導いてくれると信じています。破滅を回避しようと死に物狂いで頑張っている人々を嘲笑うような結末、これまで築き上げた全てを崩壊させるような結末だけはフルメタル・パニックの世界ではやってほしくないです。

次巻以降、宗介たちがこの絶望的な状況をひっくり返すことを楽しみにしています。

進展がすごいです。宗助とかなめの前にレナードが現れたり、ミスリル対アマルガムの戦闘があったり新しいＡＳが出たりするけど・・・・
宗助とかなめの心の進展がいちばん良いデス
とにかく進展が激しい巻です
でも、良いところでおわりすぎじゃ。
と思うと思います
じゃから、買うなら次の長編と一緒がいいかもしれません
でも、でも絶対によんだほうがいいです

おそらくフルメタル・パニックで一番シリアスだと思う。これまでとはまったくちがうし、今までの生活も壊れていく・・・。
でもオススメできる。なぜなら、自分の中ではやっと進展したと思うからだ。　みなさんもフルメタル・パニックを呼んだことがあるなら読んでほしい。
