最近の流行りである「シンプル」「ナチュラル」の流れを汲む本ですが、実践するには抵抗の
ある不自然さや、著者の自己満足的アピールのない、本当に気持ちの良い本です。

全てコンテナで育てる方法なので、マンション住まいでお庭がなくても、庭はあるけどすでに
お花でいっぱいでも、今すぐにワインの木箱やブリキの缶、土が入っていた袋などで野菜が
育てられる提案がいっぱいです。葉菜や果菜はもちろんのこと、根菜や花菜だっていけちゃ
うんですよ。

この本では、主として種まきからスタート。卵パックを利用してのそれは、まさに目からウロコ
でした。過程の写真や育て方のコツがたくさん載っているので、初心者にも安心です。収穫
した野菜を使ったレシピも載っていますよ。

眺めるだけでも楽しくて、実際に育ててみると尚嬉しい......！
本当に清々しく役に立つ本ですので、ぜひともオススメです。

プランターや鉢、ビニールの手提げ袋、ヨーグルトカップ、はては卵パックなど様々な容器を使った野菜作りが、とても美しい写真とともに紹介されており、スーパーに並んでいる野菜と違って、「野菜ってなんて綺麗なんだろう」と感じました。また、それぞれの野菜を使った料理のレシピと完成写真も載っていて見ているだけでも楽しい本です。ディル、スイスチャード、セニョリータやラッカセイなどちょっと変わったものが載っているのもおもしろい。野菜作りの基本事項は後ろの方のページに書いてありますが、少しシンプル過ぎるかもしれませんので、もう少しそのあたりを詳しく解説している本と一緒に買うのが良いと思いました。私はこの本の卵パックを使ったロケット（ルッコラ）作りをしてみましたが、ロケットは室温で芽が出やすいので簡単に苗作りが出来て良かったですよ。

ガーデニングにはまった今年、初めて買った本です。
いろんな種類の野菜ハーブの育て方を、大変わかりやすく
美しい構成でできています。
買った当初は寝ずに読んだくらいです。
マンション住まいでも十分楽しめました
今度はこの本に載っていること以外も挑戦したいです。
