「天然生活」という雑誌で高山なおみさんを知り、
シンプルだけど美味しくて何度でも食べたくなるレシピに感動。
「この人の料理本なら！」と、この本を購入しました。

期待を裏切らない内容で、四季を大切にする高山さんの
「旬の素材を愛する気持ち」がたくさん詰まったレシピの数々でした。

保存のきく料理も多く載っているので、時間のある日は何品か
作りおきしておくと「きっと今頃味がしみているんだな」と、
明日やあさっての食事までが楽しみになってきます。

難を言わせていただくならば、もう少しお魚のレシピも欲しかったな、
ということと、レシピ通りに作ると少しお酒がキツいかな、
という２点です。私がお酒に弱いだけかもしれませんが・・・。

すぐ作りたくなる本です。

表紙に魅かれて買ったのですが、家に帰ってすぐ表紙の「半熟煮卵」を作りました。自分でも驚くくらい美味しいものを作ることができました。

マーケティングで取りつくろった「和み」、「癒し」、「スロー」が多いこの頃です。その裏側に見えるギラギラした生臭さにウンザリすることがありますが、この本からは時として切ない程の「生活」と選んで勝ち取ったものが伝わって来ました。
にせ者は近寄れないのでしょう、写真、レイアウトなども含めて全てが素晴らしい本です。

高山なおみさんの料理は、簡単だけれど、無理な手抜きとかはなくて、大好きです。しかも、彼女のレシピの文章のわかりやすさはピカイチ。彼女が「ここがポイントです」とか、「これが隠し味です」などと書いていることさえきちんと押さえれば、必ずおいしく作れます。
元KuuKuuというレストランのシェフで、たくさんの若いスタッフに囲まれて仕事をしていた方なので、人に教えることに慣れているのかなぁ、と思います。

彼女の料理本は全部もっていますが、レシピのバランスや使用頻度で言えば、この本がいちばんオススメです。
