5.0 out of 5 stars TOEFLライティングで5.0をとる為の最短ルートを示してくれる一冊, 2003/11/29
本書は、TOEFLだけに限らず、基本的な英文エッセイのエッセンスといった感じの内容になっています。特に論理的な展開と文法や話題の転換などの手法が細かく丁寧に説明されており、TOEFL受験者は必ず手にしたほうがいい一冊です。良いポイントを以下に記しますのでご参考にしてください。

１、話題別にテンプレートが用意されており、それにのっとって話題を展開するだけで、TOEFLエッセイとしては5.0レベルのものが作れるように作成されている

２、論理的展開の方法が明確で、減点されるポイントなどが明確に書かれている為に、どういったことに注意して時間内で仕上げていけばいいかが簡潔に分かる

３、全てのエッセイ問題が日本語で掲載されており、また、各内容にどのように対応するかを事前に用意するテンプレート作成フォーマットが用意されているので、これを実施することで、実試験において容易にエッセイがかける

この方法で私も5.0を獲得することができました。日本で発売されているTOEFLエッセイ対策書としては、最良のものではないでしょうか。

5.0 out of 5 stars 効果抜群！！, 2004/8/13
本書を実際に使用してみてWiting対策本の中ではベスト・オブ・ベストだと実感しました。英語表現は乏しく、自分の考えをまとめるのが苦手なのですが本書のテンプレートに基づいて書くことでおよそ一ヶ月でCBT TOEFL受験2回目にしてWriting Scoreが3.5→5.5に上がりました。正直、試験当日も子供じみた様な英語表現でしか書くことが出来なかったのですが本書のテンプレートを用いることで本文自体に説得力を持たせることが出来たのだと思います。Writingが始めての方、苦手意識のある方はとにかく本書を試してみてください。問題はすぐに解決出来るはずです！！

この本は上級者、中級者には向かないと思う。本文のアイデアはいいとしても文章自体は非常に簡単です。TOEFLを今から受ける人にとっては非常に良い本だと思います。TOEFLのポイント4.0-4.5くらいまでは使えるでしょう。
