安いし、コンパクトで持ち運び易いし、関連の法律は全て網羅されているし、見やすいし、非常に優秀な法文集。ただし条約が無い。条約までカバーしているものが欲しい人は、少し価格が張る（ほぼ２倍になる）が、「産業財産権四法対照法文集（PATECH企画出版部）」を購入するといいだろう。
いずれにしても法文集は、弁理士試験の受験生であれば必ず１冊は手元に置いておきたい。
平成19年4月1日施行版ということで、特１７条の２第４項（シフト補正の禁止）や、特５０条の２（分割出願に係る最後の拒絶理由通知に準ずる通知）なども、対応済みです。
