私も現場の責任者として『RFP』は大切なものとわかっていながら､書き方が良くわからない為敬遠をしてきました。
そんな中､著者の連載を当時誌上で目に留め『これはなるほど！』と､うならされました。

まず第一にきちんと『森』の部分を見せてくれる。全体像が誰にでも分かり易く描かれている。

そして『木々』の部分も申し分ない。（いくらで）（いつまでに）（結論先行で書きなさい）など大事な場面でしっくりと来るキーワードを示してくれ､読んでいくうち知らず知らずのうちRFPの勘どころが身に付いていきます。

そばに置いておけば､大いに役立つ一冊です。

「具体性より網羅性が大事」など、非常にわかりやすい言葉や図を使用して簡潔に説明している書籍である。
ひとつのシステム架空の構築例を使って、順を追って説明している所が良い。

また、前半はRFPについての解説、後半はRFPを受け取り提案書を提出する側（ベンダ−）の解説と２部構成になっています。ともに７０ページ弱なのでとても読みやすいです。
因みに私はRFPを書く側なので前半重視で読みました。

是非、これからRFPを書こうとする人、またはもう一度RFPについて復習したい人にお勧めの一冊です。

RFPが何かを全く知らない方が、上司にRFPを書くように言われたらまずこの本を読むと良いと思います。厚さも薄く、RFPの様式、ポイントなどがざっと書かれていますので、短時間で把握できます。ただ、これだけを読んでRFPを書けるほどの内容はありません。サンプルもありますが、あくまでサンプルで、このサンプル程度の内容でRFPを出せば、その調達は失敗するでしょう。
