　荒木さんの場合７年間の在宅介護だそうですが、私にいたっては、現在、１年目にしてもう、悲鳴をあげています。苦しみの度合いや、悩みの部分はそれぞれ違うと思いますが、誰にとっても介護というのは、過酷なものだと思います。私の場合、働きたくても働けないという鬱屈したものもあります。子どももそろそろ少しずつ手が離れ、仕事を探そうかなと思った矢先、介護が始まりました。まだ痴呆がないだけ幸せかもしれませんが、荒木さんも介護の中で考えたように、私も子どもに兄弟をつくることも考えられず、また、将来自分が老いて、自分の事ができなくなったときは、家族の世話になるより、養護施設なり、入った方がいいと考えたのでした。
　それにしても、荒木さん、若くして介護の生活ご苦労様でした。

　２０年の介護ご苦労様でした。有名人であるが故に人には言えないご苦労があったことと思います。介護を知らず、経験も無いのに、さも経験者のごとく本を出版する人達がいますが、その多くは無感動書物であり、きれい事しか書いていません。地獄のような介護経験と、家庭崩壊

の危機を乗り越えて始めて感動する本が書けるのだと思う。我が家のボケ老人も先日亡くなりましたが、悲しんでもらえるうちで良かった。これ以上の介護は殴り殺すしか方法は無いと思っていた矢先でした。痴呆
介護については、国、自治体、医療機関、地域が一体となって真剣に考えるべき時に来ているのではないでしょうか？個人では無理です。

永い期間の介護、よく我慢しましたね。尊敬に値します。ご苦労様！

この方の、言わばエッセイ本と思って購入されたほうがいいです。
はなやかな芸能界で働きつつ、その裏では介護という現実を抱え、一般人の私達と同じ悩みや苦しみを抱えてるのだな、という意味では共感できます。
しかし、自分の介護生活に役立つ内容ではありません。
