5.0 out of 5 stars PMの仕事がどのようなものか理解できます, 2008/4/6
いまこの時も、多くの職場でプロジェクトが進行し、PMが活躍されていると思います。
しかし、その管理手法は人により少しずつ異なるのではないでしょうか。
本書では、PMBOKに準拠した形で管理手法を例題を用いながら解説しています。
普段自分が行っている手法と比べて、抜けている部分、似ているけど少し違う部分、人それぞれの捉え方があると思います。
まだ、プロジェクト管理を経験していない人も、わかりやすい例を基に解説されていますので、管理手法が理解できます。
PMP資格取得目的という意味では、本書は試験対策にはなりませんが、他の書籍でPMPの理屈的な部分を整理する前に、一度本書で具体的な業務の流れとPMBOKの関連を掴むと理解がより一層深まると思います。
本書はとてもうまく纏められており、すぐ実務に応用できるものです。

プロジェクトマネジメントとは何か？
初めて学ぶときに購入した本です。
初めてプロジェクトに参画する人がプロジェクトマネジメントの
全体流れを把握するにはとても優れた本だと思います。
目標設定〜計画〜進捗管理でやらなければならない事（WBS作成等）
が書かれてるので、最低限の必要な知識を習得できます。

ただ、195ページ程で纏めた本なので、プロジェクトマネジメントの
詳細まで書かれているかというとそうではありません。
プロジェクト経験豊富な人がPM、PL知識習得のために読む本ではないと思います。
あくまで初心者のための本です。

プロジェクトマネジメントについて3つの要素、4つの段階、10のステップから解説されています。例を使って分かりやすく書かれていますし、その必要性やチェックリストも用意されています。ただしあくまでもHowto本ですので、実際にプロジェクトマネージメントを始められる方や、試験を受けたい方には、これ１冊じゃ足りないかもです。
