以前も通常のオーディオＣＤ形式で発刊されていた
録音聖書がＭＰ３形式とはいえ全６６巻分で
１万円を切る「超お買い得」な一品です。
（以前の形式は新約聖書分でも１万円しました）
現在、書物として目で読むことに慣れ親しんできた私たちにとって
聖書を耳で聞くことは大変新鮮で純粋に感動を覚えます。
また聖書が書物として広く配布される以前は「朗読」によって
学んでいたともききます。初期信徒の気持ちまで味わえてしまいます。（笑）
目の見えない方にも、健常者の方にも喜ばれる商品だと思います。

聖書全巻の朗読CDというと、その制作の困難さを考えれば世界的に貴重なのではないでしょうか。これは以前CD100枚以上ものセットとして販売されていたもので、それをmp3形式に圧縮しCD6枚としたものです。しかも価格はたったの8400円!! これだけで「絶対買い」です。訳の好みはこのさい置いときましょう。座ってページをめくり、細かい文字を読むことは苦痛を伴いますが、これならいつでもどこでも聞いてみようという気になります。朗読は4人の声優が行っており、素人臭さは一切ありません。やや早口で抑揚のない、ニュースのようなしゃべり方に好き嫌いが出ると思いますが、それでもこのボリュームを考えると十分許せるでしょう。音声は、64Kbps、22050KHzステレオでエンコードされています。性能の良い再生装置で聞くとノイズっぽさが感じられますが、通常聞くには問題のない程度です。この圧縮率の設定には苦心されたことと思います。もう少し劣化してもよいのであれば、再エンコードしてサイズを小さくできると思います。mp3とはいえ、最近はmp3対応のCDプレイヤーが多いので、PCをもってなくても再生できます。ぜひ手にとってみてください。
