『はじめにーＮＹＰＤのＴシャツ』を読み出した瞬間、”この本はいいわあ”と思わず、声を出してしまいました。これは、素直な気持ちとしての話ですが、『読ませようとしてくれる』ある種の文才を感じさせてくれました。第一印象として、とても読みやすい、次は・次はと思っている内にドンドンはまり込んでしまい、先に先にとページをくくっている自分に気がつきました。この『はじめに・・・・』を読んでいたら、何故だか知らないのですが、胸がジーンと熱くなるものを感じてしまいました。専門的に書けば、より難しい理屈で展開してもおかしくないと思うのですが、そこは著者の思いと努力によるのでしょうが、分野の素人に近い一般の人にも気軽に読んでもらうための工夫や熱意を感じとれました。激しい変革が求められる時代の中で、人材育成の視点を
どう変えていったら良いのだろうかと模索している方々への一助となるであろう。

タイトル通りの内容です。企業の中で、人材育成を実務として築き上げてきた経験から書いているだけあって、説得力があります。外資系の人事コンサルが出している美辞麗句の寄せ集め本とは質が違います。日立と言うちょっと地味なイメージ（失礼しました）の企業なだけに、参考になる面があるのではないでしょうか。自分の会社に比較的置き換えて考えやすいです。

大変面白く読み始めたらとまらず一挙に読み終えました。
特にコロンビアでの研修のこと面白く読みました。
全体に亘り、筆者の今までの事業経験がよく生かされた内容になっていると
思いました。
また最近の日立の教育活動が良くわかり、その点でも参考になりました。

日立の教育そのものの中味に焦点をあてながら、全くの外部の人が読んでも

大変面白い内容となっているのは、まさしく生きた経験により内容が裏打ち
されているからで、これはなかなか出来ないことです。大学の先生に何冊か
お渡しすることにしました。

これがトヨタの教育責任者の書いたものなら多分大ベストセラーになる
ところですが、日立なのでこんなにも良い本を書いたにもかかわらず、

そこそこで止まってしまうのではないかと失礼ながら思った次第です。

　文中幾つか私の想いと重なる言葉がでてきますが、日本企業についての
ポーター先生の話は、ドラッカー教授が言っている「物事を適切にやるより、
適切なことをやるほうが重要である」ということと同じだと思いました。
