この本のタイトルである『日華断交と日中国交正常化』のなかで日中は日本と中国（中華人民共和国）の事を指すのは分かる。だが、日華となると日本と中華民国（台湾）の事を指しているという事は、私も含めて特に若い世代は知らない人が多い。そんな若者にも当時の日本の（中国）大陸政策についてどういう経緯であったのかを分かりやすく書いてある書物であり、非常に理解し易いものである。
