構造主義（やそれ以前の考え方）の何が問題とされ、ポスト構造主義が生まれてきたか。バタイユ、レヴィ＝ストロースなどポスト構造主義に大きな影響を与えた人々の考え方、構造主義があきらかにした、世界の仕組みや言語論、ポスト構造主義の根底にある共通の考え方が、半分ぐらいです。
のこり半分ぐらいで、ポスト構造主義とよばれる人々（アルチュセール、ラカン、クリスティヴァ・・・）の考えや、ポスト構造主義がテーマとする問題などが紹介されています。１人の思想家に対して、多くて２〜３ページ程度で紹介されていたり、まとめなどで数ページといった構成です。

範囲が広いためか、各パートが概要レベルになっていて、正直、わかったような、わからんようなです。ただ、興味のある部分については、もう少し調べようか？、紹介されている著書を読んでみようか、という気を起こさせる本でした。

いつもの図解本で、見開き、左半分が文字、右が図解です。この本の図解は、本文をチャートっぽくしたものが多く、文字を読んだあと、ポイントだけ、整理するのに便利でした。
