~　この本は　日本語のレシピと　英語のレシピが　見開きであるので　わかりやすいです。
日本とアメリカでは　計量カップの容量が違うのですが　この本は　英語レシピはアメリカサイズで　表示、日本のレシピは日本のサイズで　表示されているので　度量計算が　いりません。
　料理の写真だけでなく　その行程写真も　詳しく　きれいで　見とれてしまいま~~す。
日本料理に興味がある　アメリカ人へのプレゼントや　アメリカに赴任される日本人の方への　プレゼントに　最適です。

現在西アフリカに在住で、使えるレシピ満載のこの本にかなりお世話になっています。

1.オールカラーで写真もきれいなので、作りたい気持ちが掻き立てられる。
2.同じページに日本語と英語が書かれているので、ページを行ったりきたりすることなく、楽に外国人に説明ができる。
3.本当に美味しい和食が作れる。煮魚・茶碗蒸し・炊き込みご飯・おでん・手巻き寿司‥この本のレシピははずれがない。基本的な和食を作れるようになりたい料理初心者の日本人にもお勧め。
4.日本の年中行事も写真入りで紹介されているので、外国人に日本を紹介するときにも使える。
5.英語のレシピは読むだけでも英語表現の勉強になっておもしろい。

海外で生活をしているせいかもしれませんが、これまで買ったどの料理本よりこの本が役立っています。私も知らなかった作り方の「コツのコツ」が各レシピに書かれて、和食の腕も磨けました。

外国人が一人で和食を作るには難しすぎるかもしれません。だしのとり方も、だしの素を使う方法なんて書かれているはずもなく、毎回、一から十までこの本のステップを繰り返していたら、途方もない手間です。
また日本独特の食材も多いので、外国人がこの本を使うには日本人の説明が必要です。

この本にひとつ問題があるとすれば、アメリカの軽量カップ(Oz cup)表示。アメリカ以外の外国人は理解できない人が多いです。
日本語のレシピは「1カップ」で構わないですが、英語レシピは8 fluid US oz cup = 200ccと、ccもしくはmlでの表示も併記してほしかったと感じます。

オールカラーで分かりやすく、とにかく見やすかったです！！
外国へ行く時のおみやげに買ったけど、是非自分用にも欲しいですね。
日本語と英語の違いも面白くて、新しい発見がありました。
日本の方・外国の方、どちらにもこれはかなりおすすめです！！！
