まず驚いたのが冒頭30ページ超ぶち抜き撮り下ろしという豪華さです。
本編で見られなかった艶やかな着物姿の五人は見ごたえ十分。
それぞれの武器を携えてのショットはまさにこれが見たかった！と膝を打ってしまいました。
とにかくこの写真は量・質共に申し分なしです。全てのメンバーの魅力を余すところなく凝縮してあります。他のメンバーとのタッグショットでは新しい一面が見られたり…殿とことはの1枚は殿の優しげな表情が魅力的で、一番お気に入りです。

全ページフルカラーだけあって眼で楽しめるつくりになっていることは勿論ですが、
文が読みたいという人も満足できる制作陣のインタビューは充実の内容となっています。
１クール目を終えて、世界観解説、各キャラへの思い、キャスティング秘話など
ここでしか聞けない話が満載です。
キャストインタビューでは演じる側から振り返った１クールの内容が全部（！）網羅されていてこちらも読み応え有ります。何より役者さんの素が本当にかわいらしい！

ダークホースだったのは黒子さんによるファッションチェックと用語辞典。
ファッションチェックはおまけのようなものかと思いきや、各キャラ平均２ページずつ割いて大特集。
個人的に一番気に入っていた７話でのおしゃれ着が見開きで載っていたので買ってよかったと思いました。用語辞典はシンケンジャーのみに留まらず特撮の専門用語がたっぷり載っていて勉強になります。かなり詳しいです。

この手のムックは高いなあと思いつつ毎年買っているのですが、今回はあんまり高いなと感じなかったですね。それくらい中身が充実していますよ。
１クールを終えて銀幕版へ全力疾走のシンケンジャー、これからも見逃せません！！

創りが非常に豪華です！！五人のキャストの新たな魅力が発見できる！見ごたえ十分なフォトブックでした！満足できました！！もったいなくて、大きく広げられない・・。

“侍”と銘打ちながらも、劇中の和装といえば稽古時の胴着姿ぐらいですが、この公式ヴィジュアルブックでは5人ともがっつり艶やかな着物姿で、しかもそれぞれがとてもよく似合っていて美しいです！全体の約半分が個々やツーショット写真に割かれ(このツーショットがまたとても良いですvv)、あとはこちらの説明通り、製作スタッフのインタビューや、殿方チーム・姫チームの対談(ここで初めて洋服登場ｗ対談の内容は各幕を振り返る感じ)、用語集などに割かれています。見応えも読み応えも抜群の1冊です!!
