レビューの評価の高さに、期待しすぎたのかもしれません。
良いお話だとは思うのですが、手放しで大絶賛できるかと言えば「ノー」です。
好みが分かれるような作品ではない代わりに、強く記憶に残ることもない、私にはそういった印象でした。

絵柄や台詞の描き方の丁寧さには好感が持てます。説明し過ぎない、表情や行間を読ませる、そういったところも好きですし、全体的に大きな破綻は見られません。
ただ、他の方も書かれているように、やはり主人公２人の感情の動きに共感しづらい。トラウマを克服するのが早いとかノンケが転ぶのが早いとか、それ以前に、両想いになるのがとても早く感じるのです。
これは、２人の過去の重たさに「これからどれほど大きく展開するんだろう」と無意識に期待しているせいだと思います。予想に反してあっさり終わるので、ミステリー小説で伏線が十分に回収されなかったときのような、肩透かし感がありました。

BL初心者の方がサラッと読むには向いていますが、切ないBLをたくさんご存知の方には、ご購入前にご一考をお勧めしたいです。

話を進めるテンポ、間の取り方が非常によく、
これから伸びる作家だろうと思えます。
作画も安定して上手く、心理描写や台詞も良いし。

話のほうは、ちょっと都合良すぎる面があります。
片思いしてる主人公に、そっちのケがない上司がいきなりキスしてきて
そのままＨになだれ込むなんて、都合良すぎてコーヒー吹きます。
まあそれがＢＬというものなんでしょうが。

ストーリーも絵柄もそんなに凝っているわけじゃない。なのに最初っから受けの嶋から目が離せない。
上司である外川にひかれているけど、辛い恋をひきずっている彼は「そのうち飽きられる、迷惑になりたくない、やめないと、早くやめないと」ってグルグル思ってる。
可愛いんです、これが!
可愛いくてせつなくて健気で愛しい……。
攻めの外川も、過去に色々ありの男だけど、がさつに見えて優しい。

久しぶりにBLマンガで泣いちゃった。本編はホント切ないシーンばっかで、嶋はうつむいて視線そらせて泣きそうな顔ばかり。でも、描き下ろし短編で見せてくれた「笑顔」に悩殺間違いなし。

読んで損なし、です。
