オシャレな古書店ブームの先駆け的な存在、
cow-booksの創始者、松浦弥太郎氏の本です。
彼が高校を中退後、放浪時代を経て仕事として本に携わるよう
になるまでの経緯、その後の精神的な壁に彼がどう悩み、
どう捉えていく事で自分を納得させてきたのかが記されています。

仕事、幸せ、自由など、世の中のことに対して僕はこう考える、

というスタンスで話は進んでいきます。その語り口はとても丁寧で、
心に響くフレーズ多かったです。
読み進む程に、胸のモヤモヤがスーっと晴れるような気がしました。
悩んで悩んで悩みまくっている人に、そっと手渡してあげれば、
きっと何らかの良い影響をもたらしてくれる本だと思います。

何ものでもない自分。
苦しいけど理想へ向っていくためには時に血をながすような
思いをしたり痛みを感じたりして成長していく必要がある。
　著者はすごくいい魂を持っていてそれをサーチライトのように
して自分の人生の道を進んできた人だと思った。
この本を読むまで、この人について全く知らなかった。

しかし、すごく正直で、わかりやすく自分の経験などを語って
いる文体からは赤裸で誠実な気持ちが伝わり知らず涙が出る。
　社会の中で生きる意義、自分の価値を模索中の人間には
心にしみるいい本だと思う。心が少し暖まる。

これから独立したいと考えている人へのハウツー本としての価値も大。又、エッセイとしても十分に楽しめる。文体が平易なのでさらさらと読みこなすことができる。装丁もシンプルで良い。持ち運ぶにも便利なサイズだから、いつでも持ち歩いて、ちょっとした時間の合間を見つけては読むことができる。最初から通して読むのも良いけれど、偶然開いたページに、思わぬヒントを発見できたりもする。たった一人でもいいから、自分の好きなことをやっていくうちに、いつかそれが自分の一生の仕事へとつながっていくこともある、そんな希望が沸いてくる本。
