麗人での10冊目。 いつもの儚羅調でした。
組み合わせは以下のような感じ。

表題作:スタイルのいいリーマン×筋肉フェチの美術教師(中年ややぽちゃ)
・眼鏡リーマン×ビルの清掃員(無口でガタイよしな中年・弁当男子)
・武器商人×奴隷の鬼(魔法も使う、ガタイのいい護衛)

直野さんのお話はコンプレックスとかが元で気持ちや言葉を飲み込んでしまうキャラが多い気がするのですが、今回もそんな感じでした。

筋肉目当てで自分と付き合ってる…?
可愛い男が好きなのになんで自分と付き合ってる…?
自分の能力だけが目当て…?
等々。

たどたどしく(時に逆ギレしながらも)悩みを乗り越え絆を紡いでいく様子がとても素敵。

前作に続き中年受けが続きますが、今までのものがお好きな人は安心して読め、初めての方もおすすめな一冊です。

ただし、掲載誌が麗人だということをお忘れなく(笑)
そして、カバー下を見るのもお忘れなく。

2.0 out of 5 stars 内容があまりにも拙い…設定ありき, 2009/10/31
オヤジスキーとしては期待していたのですが、直野さんは昔の作品の方が良かったです。
ストーリーに重みと拭い切れない傷みがあり、ずっしりと手応えのある作品であったと思います。
ですが作品を重ねて行くうちに、その内容はどんどん薄っぺらくラクな方に。
構図や画風に問題があるのではなく（むしろ挑戦が見られて好感が持てます）
引っかかるのはその内容。

年齢がはっきりとはわかりませんが、特に表題作の乙女オヤジ×青年ものの違和感が酷い。
乙女オヤジを10代の美少年にしても、全く遜色ないほどの精神年齢の低さ。
これが美術教師で40代前後（に見える）の、立場や思考回路なのかと頭を抱えます…。

私が個人的に乙女オヤジがツボではないというのもありますが、それにしても酷いです。
乙女オヤジは乙女であればあるほど萌える！という方にはお勧めしますが、
年齢を重ねることによって高くなるプライドや、立場の重み、曖昧で煮え切らない態度や
滲み出て来るような悲壮感をオヤジの色気と捉えている方にはお勧めしません。

直野さん久々に買ってみましたｗ
…が、二人の心理描写が色んな意味で浅いような気がしました。
カップリングとしては好きなんですけど…ちょっと残念です。
もう少しガンバッテほしいです。。
