「女子高生　森田真由（１６）」
「ちょっぴり人より無口です」
「好きで無口な訳ではありません」

言いたいことはたくさんあるのに、悶々としたり
まとまらなかったり、古式ゆかしい母の教えを守ったりで
なかなか声に出して発言しない（できない、のほうが正しいかもしれない）、
不思議っ娘、森田さん。

クラスメート曰く「目が冷凍イカのようで怖い」森田さんだが、
過度にデフォルメされたキャラではなく、ごくごく自然体で
普通の心やさしいヒロインであり、読むほどに好感的。

脇を固めるクラスメートの個性も強く、クローズアップされがちな森田さんに
決して劣ることはない。だからこそ、森田さんを中心とした青春ストーリーが
より一層充実し、リアリティあふれる魅力で満ちている。
クラスメートの話からそれて随所で繰り広げられる
森田さん両親の夫婦漫才もなかなか面白い。

ありふれているようで、あまりみあたらない、
非常に興味深い作品。今後にぜひ期待したい。

　主人公が極端に無口だという４コマ漫画は珍しい｡
　しかし，この作品はその無口という個性を最大限に生かして面白いネタに仕上げている｡
　森田さんの，無口がゆえにあれこれ想像を膨らませて右往左往する友人たちの動静がおかしくて笑え，また，森田さんの，正確に他者に伝わらない思いも楽しい｡私たちの実生活の中でもこんなことあるよなあとうなずき読んだ｡
　森田さんの両親のやりとりの場面も非常に面白くて笑える｡

　優し過ぎて無口になってしまう森田真由と友人や家族との何気ないやり取りを描いた四コママンガです。特に、友人関係で中盤以降登場する山本さんや、序盤から登場し、徐々に森田さんへのよからぬ思い(笑)を募らせるメガネの女の子がいい味出してます。
　個人的にはクヤシイ事でもあるのですが、萌え絵っぽい女子高生が主人公なのに、スクール水着やブルマーといったコスプレ要素は持たせず、風潮に媚びたり阿ったりするような要素は微塵もありません。これは、最近の作品を商品展開と連動させたり深夜枠でアニメ化を狙う漫画家及び編集者諸氏には見習ってもらいたいですね。
