タイゾーも、もーちょっと出来るやつだと思ってたんだけどなぁ。最近は見る影も無く普通の国会議員になっちゃってまぁ・・・(以上、本編の内容とは一切関係ありません。)

コミックスの内容自体は、「たのしい甲子園の麻雀バージョン」です。
話の展開からオチまでを、たのしい甲子園を1巻に凝縮した感じ。特に最後はたのしい甲子園そのもの。
議員さんや各国の代表との外交を麻雀でやっちゃおうかみたいな。小泉最強。

しかし1巻完結なのが勿体無い。毎度同じようなパターンの繰り返しではあるけれど、飽きることなく楽しめる。
安部まで出したんなら福田、新総理、オバマまでネタにして欲しいところ。あと、プーチンはもっとガチムチでもいいんじゃないか？


・・・やはりこの国の代表は小泉しかいないんじゃなかろうか？と思わせる描写。最高です。

発売直前に辞任会見が行われるなど、登場人物に負けない
豪運の持ち主であることを証明した大和田先生。
巻数表記がない事を悲しくおもっていましたが、
近代麻雀オリジナル 2008年 10月号 [雑誌]に
迫りくる脅威編のプロローグが掲載されました。

コミックスを買ったら、近オリも買って大和田先生を応援しよう！

麻雀マンガと聞くと、麻雀ファンが熱い駆け引きを楽しむマンガというイメージが強いと思う。駆け引きを面白くするために無茶な条件を加えたバクチを行ったりだとか……

この作品も、ムチャといえばムチャな展開なのだけれど、登場するキャラクターは実在する人物がモデル。反則技を使いこなしながら小泉が主人公となって外交を行う。

なにが面白いのかと言われれば難しい。でも、この作品が楽しめる層は何となく分かる。

2ちゃんねる的なゴシップスレを楽しめる人たちはお腹を抱えて笑えると思う。

某メジャーリーガーにとって、ホームランはヒットの打ち損ないだとか、二打席八安打は当たり前とか、そういうバカ話を楽しめる人には最高のマンガ。
