第一弾で至極の恐怖を味わったにも関わらず懲りずに第二段であるこちらの本も読破。個人的にはこちらの方が更に奥深い深淵の恐ろしさを携えている様に思えた。正直言うと、小学生じゃあるまいしイイ年してこの本を読んだ日の夜、眠れず朝迄起きてしまいました。暗闇の中で目を閉じる事が怖くて出来ない。第三弾も購入しましたが、暫くの間は時間を空けていたい気分。これからの暑い季節に涼しくなりたい方、必読です。

数ある文庫形式の実話怪談集の中で最長の巻数を誇る「超」怖い話シリーズ。
第一巻の発売から既に十数年。
出版社の倒産等の何度かの不幸な中断も、熱心な読者の要望により奇跡的に復活を遂げ、遂に竹書房より新刊が発行、今回は復活第二弾となります。

このシリーズが支持され続けている最大の理由は現実的な恐怖にあると思われます。心霊を扱う怪談本に現実的という言葉は変かもしれませんが、編著者が収集したこれらの体験談は霊現象等の荒唐無稽な話でありながら、しっかりと地に足が着いたものであり、その語り口により読者が擬似的に体験者から直接話を聞いているような錯覚感を覚えつつ、日常的に起こりうる出来事として訴えかけてきます。何時の日か自分にも起こりうるのではないか、という?怖を残して。
是非、お手に取り、読み、夢にでるまで怖がっていただきたい本です。
