この文庫の出版にかかわった方から

絶対に上下巻を一気に読んでくれ！！

そして、上巻だけを読んで「つまらない」

という判断だけは・・・・してもいいけど、

しかし、絶対に下巻にすすんで欲しい！！

騙されたと思って、否、俺を信じて一気に

読んでくれ！！！！と語られたことを思い出します。

私は、彼を信じて、上下巻を一日で読破しました。

・・・・・・・

今では、この本に出合えたことに感謝する気持ちで

いっぱいです。

一人でも多くの方が、「騙されて」上下巻一気読み

をされることを願ってやみません！！

４コマという形式をとることで作者があらわしたかったことは何だろう。
それはただ単に、乱暴亭主とそれに耐える不幸な妻のドタバタ、というものではない。
どん底に居ながら、どこか突き抜けたところのある２人のやりとりを描くことで、
一見救いのなさそうな生活が、読者にとってどこか安らぐ場に思えてくる。

そして下巻では、一転して幸江の薄幸な少女時代が描かれる。
上巻とはまるで違ったトーンで、ことさら４コマにしなくてもいいぐらい、
ストーリー性があふれている。
上巻と下巻のギャップには意味があるのだ。

下巻の最後数ページ。
大きなお腹を抱えた幸江が、少女時代に心ならずも裏切ってしまった熊本さんと
駅のホームで再会する。

「幸や不幸はもういい。どちらにも同じだけ価値がある」

業田は、この言葉を言いたくてイサオにちゃぶ台をひっくりかえさせていたのかもしれないと思う。

個人的に痛くて痛くて堪りませんでした。主人の両親がイサオとユキエ
、そのままなんですね。そういう人が身近にいると、
ものすごい迷惑や
言いようのない虚脱感とか怒りが込上げてくる日常なんですわ。
しかし、上・下巻読み終わって、謎が解けたと同時に、
そういう世界もアリなのね。ああ、もうしゃーないわ、と。
諦めでは無いんだけども

何というか、悟った？というか・・・。こういう環境に置かれてると
刹那的になったりして人生を棒に振る人っていると思うんですね。
そういう人や、環境に置かれている人に読んで頂きたい。
下手なカウンセラーにかかるより、目の前がパッと開けるというか。
しかし、本当によく人物設定がされてます。

科学反応式のように、こういう人達にはこういう性格で、
こういう関係が出来上がるんだ、というのがリアルで私の周りで
ありますので。
