中島 久恵
1960.11.27生まれ。東京都出身。本田竹広氏、大徳俊之氏、板橋文夫氏にジャズピアノを、パーカッショニストの今村裕司氏にリズムを師事。渡辺貞夫著の『Jazz Study』を頼りに現在の自己の理論を持つに至る。22才頃より新宿Pit Innなどジャズのライヴハウスに出演するようになり、24才の頃より自己のバンドをつくり、ライヴハウスに出演を続けている。オリジナル曲を中心に活動してきているが、現在はImprovisationが中心となっている。1993年、自己のトリオでのCD『Junior Line』発表(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

私はジャズについてはラジオで聞いたことがある程度の全くの初心者です。
ジャズについては、クラシックと違うリズムと和音の分野の曲だとしか分かっていませんでした。
ちなみに、ピアノは学生の頃まで習っていました。
そして今回、この本を買い読んでみましたが、理解しずらかったです。
とても易しく書かれているのは分かるのですが、全体像が解らない物体を虫眼鏡で見てる心境でした。
そして、後ろに載っている楽譜も初心者には難しいものでした。
多少なりともジャズを知っている方が良いと思います。

　ジャズ演奏に欠かせないヴォイシング等の方法を手取り足取り教えてくれる良い本だと
思います。ただ著者のアレンジ演奏で結構難しいものがありました。
アレンジ演奏の難しさと基本の解説の易しさとかなりギャップがあるように
感じました。できればアレンジ演奏がどのようなプロセスで行われたのか
（たとえばD7がDaltに変化している部分の解説がないのでそういった詳しい部分）
そういうことが詳しく書かれていれば、星５つだったのになーとか思ってしまいました
＾＾；。
ただアレンジ演奏は素晴らしいですし、良い本であることは間違いないと思います。

簡単そうで、実は難しいのがジャズピアノ。でもこの本はその難しいジャズピアノを、それこそ１からわかりやすく教えてくれる。しかもＣＤ付きで耳で聞きながら練習できるスグレモノだった（この効果は大きかった）。私のような鍵盤歴３年足らずの“ピアニスト”にはうってつけの教本。著者の中島久恵さんのユーモアある飾らない書き方も魅力。
