私は「水の戯れ」を練習するために、この楽譜を購入したのですが、まず縮尺が大きく、非常に音符が見やすいです。

それと、「水の戯れ」に関しては特筆すべき点があります。
それは曲構成からすると中間部にあたる、３１小節目の記譜方法です。この部分は一和音ごとに左手を大きく移動させ、ノーマル→クロスハンド→ノーマル・・・という形で弾くのですが、その部分が、上段と下段でしっかり分かれているので、非常に見やすいです。
他の版だと、クロスハンドの部分が上段に書かれているので、ごちゃごちゃしてしまい、譜読みの段階で混乱を招きやすいです。
ですので、「水の戯れ」を初めて練習する方にはもってこいの楽譜であると言えるでしょう。

一点減点の理由は、ラヴェル(+ドビュッシー、ムソルグスキー)とガーシュウィンという似ても似つかないジャンルの作曲家を一冊にまとめてしまってある居心地の悪さに対してです。

ラヴェルやガーシュウィンなど比較的最近（といっても100年近く前）の作曲家による名曲をピアノ譜にアレンジしています。ラヴェルの切なく、どこか暖かいメロディー＆ハーモニー、ガーシュウィンの歯切れのいいリズムが楽しめます。

しかし、それによって要求される演奏技術も、このシリーズの曲集に比べても若干むずかしめ。「亡き女王のパヴァーヌ」は好きな曲（お勧めﾃﾞｨｽｸは小澤＆ボストン響）なのでがんばってみましたが、初心者の私には到底無理。ひとりお部屋で自分のために弾いてます。でもいい曲弾くのは楽しいですね。
