「元は外国の本なので日本で実践できる内容がほとんどない」というのは確か。ただ、アメリカでは大ベストセラーした本との事。それだけ治安が悪いということなのか。
とはいえ、日本でも犯罪が多発傾向にあり自己防衛の面から見て、敵の攻撃パターンを学ぶべきかもしれない。余計なお世話かもしれないが、この本に使われている紙の質は非常に悪い。

Amazon.co.jp　初めてのカスタマーレビュー投稿です。
で、このような投稿をしなければいけないことを悲しく思います。

殺人術、と題してますが、
・「そりゃ死ぬだろう」ってことくらいしか書いていない
　（目を抉り取ったら頭を何度も床にぶつけましょう　　等）
・武器の説明として、ナイフが数本写った写真がページの半分を占めている
・そして写真や図がほとんどで、文章は期待できない
などなど。

図は比較的わかりやすく書かれていますが、写真は見ずらいのであってもなくてもという感じです。
見所といえば、銃や隠し武器の構造を理解できること程度。
殺人方法の描写はあいまいで、何が言いたいのかさっぱりです。

アブナイ関連に興味があるなら読んでみてもいいと思いますが、お勧めはしません。

まずはじめに、上の商品の説明で「1997年刊の新装版」とありますが、これは1987年の間違いです。さっき書棚を探したら、ありましたよ、1987年刊の初版本が。
20年近い年月で「殺人」という言葉に対する抵抗感は少なくなったんでしょうか、旧版とは太さも大きさも３倍増しで「殺人術」と書かれた表紙に、隔世の感を覚えてしまいました。
日本も物騒になりましたなぁ。
他の方も書かれているように、日本では実行困難な内容ばかりで、実践（してはいけない！）や自衛の参考にはしづらい内容です。しかし、８０年代末から９０年代のハードボイルドやミリタリー系の劇画に、この本を参考にしたことが明らかな描写がいくつもあり、そういう方面での資料価値は高いでしょう。どの程度の需要があるかは疑問ですけどね。

元は外国の本なので日本で実践できる内容がほとんどない。なのでこの本は写真が数多く掲載してあるので資料として買うのが適切である。
