　この内容でこの値段はちょっと高い。文庫ならオッケーってところです。私にとっては、間違いなく２回は読まないでしょう。

　書いていることは、
　　英文を読むためには５文型は大事ですよ。
　　主語、動詞、目的語、補語を判別しましょう。
　　副詞や修飾語はなくても文が成り立つんですよ。
　　いろんな「節」があるけど、名詞・形容詞・副詞などと同じように扱えばいいですよ。
　　・・・・
という感じです。

　これってまともに受験勉強した人はみんな理解していることのはずです。参考書にはあまり書かれていないと述べていますが、そんなことはありません。英語の受験参考書に普通に載っているテクニックのひとつだと思っいましたし、私が高校の時の英語の授業はこればっかりやってた気がする。英文の下に線を引いて、Ｓ：主語、Ｖ：動詞、Ｏ：目的語、修飾語・・・。

　まあ、そういう意味では、英語を読むときに大事なことってのは良く分かるし、中学生や英語がさっぱり分かんないって言ってる人にはいいかも知れませんが、大学受験レベル以上では物足らないように思います。

今まで"5文型"を学んだことがない方や、「そんなの覚えなくてもいいじゃん」と言って避けてきた方には、【5文型とは何か？】や【5文型を学べば、"英文整序問題""長文速読""英会話"に十分応用が可能である】ということが分かるので読む価値はありそうです。

　ただ、本に書かれている5文型の説明は、はっきり言って、ごく巷（ちまた）にあふれている参考書に書かれている内容と変わりがないので、今まで5文型を学んで理解している方や、英文法の参考書を持っている方にとっては、「これで"本当の英語力が劇的に伸びる"と言われてもねぇ・・・」と思わずぼやいてしまう本でしょう。

タイトルに同意して購入したものの、5文型の入り口で内容が終わっているため、どうも不満足。本書は、受験生や、受験生をもつ親向けにかかれており、高校受験くらいまでは、この本で十分役に立つと思います。大事なことは言っていますが、5文型の重要性を理解している方には、物足りないと思います。うーっ残念！
