本書は、照明の基礎から、照明デザインプロセス、次世代省エネ手法、
CGとシミュレーションなど照明に関する幅広い内容となっています。

次世代省エネ手法では多灯分散照明方式の実施例の紹介、CGとシミュ
レーションでは輝度及び明るさ尺度値を利用した照明設計の有効性実
証実験の紹介など、これまでの一般書籍には載っていない内容が豊富
に掲載されています。
住宅照明を主体に書いておりますが、一般施設にも応用できる内容です。

学会等のいろいろな委員会に参加させて頂いておりますが、これ
から住宅照明が加速度的に変わっていくことを身を持って感じています。

光とは？照明とは？と考えた時に、あまりにも日常的で存在する事があたりまえになっていた為深く考えずにいましたが、この本を読んで照明の事をもう少し知りたいと思うようになりました。照明が空間に与える影響すなわち、明るさ、開放感、高級感,etc...をもう少し理解すれば仕事に生かせると思っていたので、多くの図解や写真を掲載し、初心者のレベルにぐっと降りてきて解り易く説明してくれるこの本は、私のような照明素人にはぴったり。照明に「興味のないふり」をしていた方々にもお薦めできる1冊です。
