今日この本を買いました。導入からカスタマイズまで
丁寧に分かりやすく書いてあったので、一気によむ
ことができました。また、特にMovable Typeのタグリファレンス
や自宅サーバーに関しては、ほかの本？（出ていたら）では
触れていなかったのでよかったと思います。タグリファレンスですが、
オンラインの情報に実際に試した事例が掲載されていたので
より参考になりました。また、オンラインで事例の体験が
できます。

それから、本文で紹介されている事例の全テンプレートが
出版社のサイトから入手できるのも、とても有り難いです。

これからMovable Typeを本格的にやろうと思っている方に
お勧めだと思いますよ。

2.0 out of 5 stars サンプルのデザインが悲惨, 2006/11/16
500ページもあるんで、参考になるTipsも無かったわけではないです。
でも、正直言ってあまりお勧めはできないですね。

まず、サンプルのデザインが悲惨です。
MTのデフォルトのテンプレートも褒められたもんじゃないですが、この本に画面ショットが掲載されているサンプルサイトは、「えっ？これ本当にMTですか？！」というぐらいセンスが無いです。
（もしかしたら、表示結果をわかりやすくするためにわざとシンプルにしたのかな？）

あとは、操作ステップの説明が冗長です。
その割りに、ソースコードの編集解説は省略しすぎ。

これを1冊買うくらいなら、他書を2〜3冊買った方がいいと思います。

この書籍は知り合いから薦められました。

Web制作は出来ても、MovableTypeだとやはり勝手が判らない．．．。
そこで、仕事柄MovableTypeを勉強したいが、手っ取り早く、
指南してくれるドキュメントをネットで探していました。
でも、なかなか難しい表現だったりして、どうも要を得ない。
そこで、書籍で良いのがないか知り合いに聞いてみたところ
この本に出会ったのです。
CSSを理解していて、XHTML＋CSSでのレイアウトが出来る人
であれば、すんなりと理解できると思います。
そんな私でもデザイン〜構築（ある程度満足のいく段階）まで
1週間もかかりませんでしたから！
ちょっと、値段が高いですがお奨めですよ！
