~R4のころから比べるとR5以降徐々にコミュニティも拡大してきましたが、やはりこの手のグループウェア製品ともなると、情報を探すのに一苦労する事もあります。R6のヘルプ機能も非常に高性能になって来た為、あまり他のコミュニティに頼らなくても解決できる事柄が増えましたが、これからNotesの導入を検討される方や、Notesの基本機能を知っておきたい方には特に重~~宝する商品だと思います。確かに、お試し版をDLして商品に触れてみる手もありがますが、今一ピンとイメージ出来なかったりします。（今はどうかわかりませんが、私がお試し版を手に入れた時は英語版でした）また、導入後も基本機能が非常にわかりやすく書かれていますので、本を開けながら設定を触ってみたりするのにとても便利です。全体機能を把握してから、~~興味のある部分だけをヘルプ機能や、他のコミュニティサイトを利用してもっと深く探ってもいけますしね。数少ないコミュニティのポータル（玄関）的なアイテムとし利用されるには最適かもしれません。~

会社ではまだLotusNotesを使用しており、しかも私自身がシステム管理部門で担当となったため、いろいろと探して購入した1冊。

LotusNotes自体は、グループウェアとしても充分な機能を備えていますが、時世のせいか解説本も極端に少ない状態です。

本書は、初めてLotus Notesを使用する方には充分な内容です。
説明も簡潔で要点を良くまとめています。

ただ、値段の割には画面貼り付けでページを消費しているところも多いため、評価としては星四つとさせていただきます。

法人で使用する場合は、それほど需要が少ないとも思えないのですが…

古本等で見つけた場合は、早めに購入されたほうが良いでしょう。
（私もそうしました）

Lotes Notesはバージョン３の時から使用しております。
ノーツをサポートする立場になりこの本を買わせていただきました。
目次等が項目単位で分かれていてとても参照しやすくなっていました。
大変役立っております。
