この本の対象が若者向けということを差し引いても、少なくともオザワ「イズム」は感じられない。表題だおれというべきか。
本書は、過去の振り返りと現状認識やマスコミや政権への批評に多くのページを割かれている。
加えて、引用している歴史上の人物や事件などどれもこれも一般人の認識を超えるものではない。
本書の帯紙に「自立せよ、日本人！」とあるが、過去と現状の批評の域を得ない本書の読後に見返すと空しく感じる。
「イズム」という点では、安倍総理の著書「美しい国へ」の方がまだイズムを感じられる。
若者に対しての先生的立場で書いたのかもしれないが、私が本書に求めたオザワイズムへの期待感が裏切られた失望感は大きい。

結構期待して買ったんですが正直期待外れです。余り分厚い内容には出来なかったんだと思いますが、総論が多く、具体的な検証が無いため突っ込みにくい。

農業改革の「市場価格との生産価格のギャップに補助金を...」と言う下りは、私の理解力の無さかも知れませんが、そんなことをしても農業は改革出来ないのでは？と思いました。

また、選挙の絡みで、「自分ほどどぶ板選挙をやってきた人間はいない」と豪語されていますが、政治家になった背景(二世議員）、現在のゼネコン囲い込みと批判される選挙スタイル等々考えると、ここまで言うのはこの人の驕りでは無いかと思います。

いずれにせよ小泉に不満がある事は分かりましたが、この人が総理になっても何も変わらないような気がします。かなり幻滅しました。

本書は具体的な政策を示した本ではない。
小沢の政治への思想を平易な言葉で表現したものにすぎない。
が、すでに日本改造計画のときのような力強さは見られず、
いまや完全に民主党という旧社会党に取り込まれ、
自身が唾棄していたはずのサヨク思想に染め上げられた自分自身の事を棚に上げて書いている。

日本改造計画や自身が進めてきた新自由主義。
そして自自連立〜小泉政権とその新自由主義に賛成してきた当人が、
いまや反省もまったく無しにその政策の批判だけに執心している。

実際の彼の議論や会見などでもわかるとおりおおよそ説得力がない。
そういう政治家を美化して国民をいかに騙して乗せるか
という目的のために本を出しているに過ぎないのではと邪推させられてしまう。

本当に日本のことを考えているのなら、
なぜ小沢民主党は堂々と売国政策を公式の政策として打ち出せるのか？
まっとうな議論を避け、
つねに裏工作に頼ってきた男の言葉を信用するか否か。

残念ながら彼の言行不一致を10年以上も見てきた私は
小沢自身も、そして本書も薄っぺらい内容にしか見えない。
