この本は、時代を追っていった近鉄ファンの思い出としてエッセイであって、著者の見解から、少々強引な解釈を展開していると思う。
もう少し検査、調査が必要と思う。
感傷的になりすぎている。

　近鉄バファローズの歴史を振り返るための本。

　球団消滅が決定的となった今、バファローズの歩みを後世に残すため、一人でも多くのファンがこの本を購入し、歴史に「近鉄バファローズ」の名を刻もうではありませんか！

　オールドファンから新しいファンまで、「近鉄バファローズ」を脳裡に深く刻むために……。

西本時代、仰木時代は知られているが、それ以前の球団草創期、谷間の時代は知られていない。この本は各年代の知られざる歴史を知るのに最適だ。近鉄ファンなら読んだほうがいい。
