※レシピは3人分の分量になっております。写真豊富で、四季に分けた内容でデザートもちらほら。難しいものはなく、自分でアレンジもできそうな手軽なものが多いです。普段石黒さんが愛用されている品々も出てきてファンの私は嬉しく楽しい本でした。何も石黒さんと同じ調理器具を使ったりする必要はなく…同じものを持っていなくても十分参考になる美味しいレシピです。レシピと話はそれますが、使われている石黒さんの選ぶ調理用品は可愛いから買っちゃいました、とか、安かったから買いましたとか中途半端なものが一切ない印象です。便利で使えそうというのでもなく、ちゃんと自分で使いこなすことができることが大前提です。高いものであれば値段と見合うものかどうか…など、ちゃんと見極めてる姿勢が伝わってきます。西友や島忠もあれば、デパートや高級なブランドのものも。どこのものなんて関係なく、一部が壊れればハンズやホームセンターで部分購入して自分でメンテ。無駄がないです。他の著書をみて、ストイックに感じる方もいるようですが、（私も以前そうでした）今ではとても尊敬してます。余計なものにお金を使ってくて本当に気持ちの良く潔くて私は大好きです。

いなり寿司の油揚げを煮るのに、グラシンペーパーを使う。成城石井で買ったカナダ産のNo.1エキストラライトのメープルシロップは、カイ・ポイスンのジャムスプーンですくう。バゲッドには、有限会社アルバの岩手県産の生搾りえごま油。まな板はイチョウの柾目のオーダーメイド。プラスチックのまな板はブリュッセルで購入。スライサーホルダーはドイツ製ベルナー社。うっかりラー油を切らしてしまったら、エバトリオのステンレス製バターウォーマーでごま油を温め、唐辛子を砕いていれ、パブリカをふり、10分置いたのちキッチンペーパーでこす。 「わたしのレシピがあなたのレシピになりますようにと願って」と言われても、参考にはなりません。
