小笠原の孤島にやってきた新米教師の渚青子が、島民と共に過ごしていくお話。

主人公の性格が底抜けに明るく、読んでいて非常に楽しくなれる。

今回はシリアスな部分があまり無いが、まったりとした日常が『生きて』描かれている。

昨今なかなかない気持ちの良い物語で読み始めると止まらなくなりました。

作者の『遊び』も作中にきちんと描かれているので非常に笑えたりもします。

今回は伏線が色々とありましたので今後の展開が非常に楽しみです。

小笠原の孤島にやってきた新米教師が、島の子供たちと共に過ごすというお話です。
南国特有の雰囲気に加え、舞台の時期が夏休みということもあって穏やかな空気の作品になっています。
しかしギャグ部分は非常にノリが良く、メリハリが付いていてとても面白いです。
気さくで優しい島民の人々との関わりも良いと思いました。

南の島の風景や生き物が良く描きこまれているので、島好きの人には「お！」と思うのでは。

登場人物も強い個性を持っているので、今後の展開にも期待です。
表紙にカエルが描かれている理由は読んでのお楽しみ。

　ターゲットとしている年代が低めなのか、やたら子供っぽい
表現をしますね。ギャグ路線で行きたいのかもしれませんが、
ベタ過ぎで笑わせよう感満々で逆にスベってるように感じ
ます。
　ストーリーや題名もしっかり練ってつくられていることが
伝わってきますし、むしろ大人向きのテーマを扱っている
んじゃないでしょうか。もっと大人っぽいシリアスな絵を
描ける方のようだし、無理せず普通に淡々とした絵と
ストーリー展開で十分読ませてくれるだけの力を持った
漫画家さんだと思います。
今後に期待ですね。
