ほとんど衝動買いで買ってしまったのですが、買ってよかった！
『岩崎美奈子ART WORKS』とのタイトルどおり、出版社や媒体、レーベルの垣根を越えて、岩崎美奈子さんが描いたイラストがみっちり詰まってます。

内容としては、「第一部：異世界」「第二部：現実世界」「第三部：架空物語世界」と章分けされており、「第一部：異世界」では『英雄伝説』『イース』『足のない獅子』『空ノ鐘の響く惑星で』などが、「第二部：現実世界」では、『転生学園幻蒼録』『クイーンズ・ガード』などが。そして「第三部：架空物語世界」では、アンソロジーイラストを中心に、『女神転生』『ペルソナ』『幻想水滸伝』などのイラストがまとめられています。
他に、カードゲームのイラストとか、ホームページのカットなども載ってました。

それぞれの作品の全イラストが載っているわけではないのですが、それでも、十分イラストを堪能できました。
とにかく、カラーイラストが多い。モノクロイラストも載っていますが、とにかくカラーが多いです。１ページ丸々使って一枚のイラストというのもあるので、細部まで見られました。あとは、貴重な下書き絵なんかも載っています。

ファンならずとも、買って損はしないと思います。

待ってましたの岩崎さんの初画集。

空鐘（小説）で岩崎さんの絵を初めて知り、その挿絵の数々に虜になってました。
友人に教えてもらったのですがこれがまた面白い小説で、説明したいのですが割愛させていただきます。

画集自体は白いカバーで清潔感があり、見た目も満足です。なんといっても書き下ろしの表紙が嬉しい！
ただ、ずっと手に持って眺めるのを繰り返していると黄ばんでくる可能性が高いので気になる人は何か対策される事をお勧めします。

この「ART WORKS」はほんとに岩崎さんの魅力全てが凝縮されてるほど素晴らしい出来でした。
一枚一枚が歴史を感じさせる絵で、最新のからかなり昔に描かれたのではないかな？というタッチの違う絵まであってうれしかったです。
ファンなら絶対買い、そうでない方も買ってみてファンになってしまうのでは？
私は絵描きを目指している者としてこの画集ひとつあれば、かなりの練習もできると思い、購入しました。

とにかく、素晴らしいイラストの数々、ボリューム。

以前から岩崎先生のファンですが、欲目を除いても薦められる画集です。
CGで描かれているのに、まるで水彩で描いている様なやさしい色。
全体的にあたたかい雰囲気の絵が殆どですが、かといって作品がワンパターンというわけではなく、風景や色、キャラクターの個性がはっきりと出ています。
縮小されて掲載された絵も、小さいのに心惹かれるのは、作品の１つ１つがとても魅力的だからでしょう。
イラストの点数も多く、作品の掲載方法も妥当なので、この価格でこの内容は大満足です。
あまりにも綺麗で見るのは勿体無くなりますが、それよりも“何度も見たい！”という気持ちが勝るような…そんな一冊です。
