アニメアクエリオンのファンはもちろん、金田氏のイラストのファンという方にも待望の一冊です。
アニメ本編で使われたカットはもちろん、雑誌掲載されたイラスト、文庫掲載イラスト
画集発行時点で刊行済みのDVDジャケット、その原案ラフ等、アクエリオンに関する
主なイラストは全て収録されています。
また、描きおろしイラストが実に秀逸。点数も多いです。
そして、ピンナップによくぞこの二人を描いてくれた！と拍手喝采を送ります。
この二人の愛憎劇がこの話の核（だと思ってます）なのに、
本編では二人揃ったシーンなんてなかったですもの．．．（涙）

各イラストに添えられたコメントや監督との対談はほぅ〜と思ったり笑えるものだったりで
端から端まで読んでしまいました。私的に最後のページの3コマが一番笑えてお気に入りです。
カバーもしっかりとした紙質のもので、じっと持っていても手汗でよれません。
もう一冊買ってもいいくらいの出来映えだと思います。

エンディングで流れる美しい絵に惹かれ、購入しました。
満足です！ずっと見ていても飽きない！
キャラクターが好き、とか以上に金田氏の描かれる絵は見ているものを惹き付ける何かがあると思います。
カラーからモノクロ、監督との対談、絵に対する金田氏本人のコメントなど、見応えたっぷりの一冊です。
本当に買って良かったと思います。

エンディングで流れる美麗な絵が気になり、購入しました。買った感想は・・・もう大満足です！着色済の絵だけでなく、鉛筆によるラフ画、それらに対する作者によるコメント、河森監督と金田氏の対談などこれでもか！という内容でもうおなかいっぱいになりました。もし購入を迷っている方がいらっしゃったら、思い切って購入することをお勧めします。そして本書から広がるアクエリオンの世界を思う存分堪能してください！
