この本のシリーズの企画意図がシスコ商品をどうインテグレートしていくかという教科書＝マニュアルとなっているため、VoIPの基本の理解というより、現場のVoIPネットワーク構築者向けである。現場での有効性は未知である、商品単品では説明されていない補足ノウハウが役にたつと思われる。
