ワンコインでお釣りが来る、なんだか装丁も適当で、
どうせ読んだところでたいしたことはないだろうと思って、
500円を捨てたつもりで購入した。

完全なるテクニック本である。
国語とは・・・なんて高尚なことは一切書いていない。
しゃべりかけるような文体で、するすると読める。
ただ、内容はすごい。
まず、入試の国語とは読むものではなく、「さがす」ものであるという割りきりがすごい。
また、主観語・文章の体言化などアイデアも斬新である。
さらに、特筆すべきは、問題文まで自分で作成しているという点。
重松清が、自分の書いた物語の中学入試問題で、30点程度しか取れなかったという話は有名であるが、
この著者は自分で問題文まで作っているので、
そういう勝手な解釈がはいる余地を作っていない。
また、各章の末尾にある重要単語コレクションがいい。

おすすめするのは、灘中を狙う4年生か5年生。
灘の国語は、さすがに、「さがす」国語ではない。
この文章では、ここでこういう問題を出してこういう答えを書かせたいんだろうと
先読みできるくらいでないと、国語でアドバンテージをとるのは難しい。
そういう一段上のいやらしさを身につけるには最適の入門書である。
また、重要単語コレクション程度の語彙も必要である。

国語が苦手な6年生にもおすすめである。
この場合、できれば2冊購入し、親や家庭教師と子どもの2人でじっくりやるのがいいだろう。

480円で思わぬ名著に出会った僥倖に感謝したい。

記載されており、かつ明解です。おすすめです！
