大好きなお料理、パンダ、ミステリーの要素があるということで
楽しみに読みましたが、どの部分でも満たされませんでした。

ツメも甘く、後味も悪く・・・（表紙はかわいいのに）
読まなければよかったです。

上巻の料理の描写に☆一つ。
推理小説が読みたい人は別の本にした方がベター。
このレベルで大賞ってどんだけレベル低いんだよ。このミス！

第6回『このミステリーがすごい！』大賞の受賞作で08年01月の単行本の文庫化．
上下巻分冊の上巻で，審査員も絶賛の料理の描かれる場面から始まっていきます．

ただ，ページが少ない割には始まりの部分が長く，以降も本編が見えづらい印象です．
ウリである料理の描写やそれにまつわる料理話は興味深く，確かに面白かったのですが，
どうもそれだけで終わっているようで，そこからの広がりや後への期待が湧いてきません．

単行本のように1冊ならまだしも，下巻があるとはいえここで一度途切れるのですから，
人物や背景の紹介だけでなく，もう少しこの上巻だけで惹かれる部分が欲しかったです．

また，会話の大半を占める関西弁（神戸弁）は聞き慣れていない人にはアクが強そう．
他では，関西弁とは微妙に違う神戸弁のアクセントをフォローできているかと思いきや，
別の場面では，大げさだったりおかしな言い回しがあったのがちょっと気になりました…．
