失語症、臨床心理士、精神科、救命救急士、、、などの仕事内容の記述の誤りが多い(たとえば救急車内で脳波って、、、)が、それはまあ深く考えないようにしたり、なんとか解釈して読み進められた。
しかしこの読後感の悪さは、、、。事件そのものが酷いし、ラスト近くの展開も、、、。
あまり人に勧められる本では無かったと個人的には思う。
ただ文章は上手いと思った。

「このミス」大賞作と知って期待して読んだが、
あまりにも医学的に間違いだらけとか
　(救急車内で脳波って…という感じで、出だしから間違い多すぎて、読むのがつらかった）
あまりにも先が読める展開とか
　(お決まりの犯人…）
倫理的にどうよ、とか…
　(主人公が泥棒しちゃイカンだろう…）
筋立ても、荒唐無稽です。
これが大賞…「このミス」の冠に期待してはイカンということでしょうか？

第7回『このミス』大賞は、選考委員の意見が真っ二つになりダブル受賞ということになったらしい。
巻末の選評を読むと、茶木・吉野氏が大絶賛のＡ評価。
大森・香山氏はＣ評価。
私の感想は、残念ながら後者でした。

序盤は、なかなか良いテンポで滑り出すのですが、中盤以降がだらだらと遅い。
福祉施設、施設の女性の不審死…、もうこの段階で、施設で起こっていることにだいたい目処が立ってしまう。
犯人もすぐに絞れる。
なのに、主人公だけが、いつまでたっても気がつかずにダラダラ…といった感じ。
司の特殊能力がなければ、全く成立しない事件の解明。
そのために、司を連れまわすなんて無理なシーンもあるし、暗号解読するなら職場のPCではなく、自宅で自分のPCを使えばいいだろうし、いくつか突っ込みどころもありました。
おまけに、ラストのクライマックスで主人公の取る行動も、女性としてはう〜ん。
その描写も…。
彼女はその後、PTSDにはならないんでしょうか…。

良い点を言えば、主人公の友人の刑事とか、キャラクターは結構面白い。

でも、大賞受賞作品、としては、ややレベルが低いのではと思いました。
