想像はしていたのだが、最初の作品以外はミステリー色が無くなって、医療問題の提議になりつつある。でも、全て読んでしまっている自分もいるが。キャラクターは面白いので、さっと読めてしまうのだが、そろそろ、ミステリーに戻っては。でも、厚生労働省を批判した勇気ある本だと思います。

後半はなかなかおもしろかったが、
新刊で焦って買うほどのおもしろさかというと微妙。

病院はほとんど出てこない。
ミステリーはない。
舞台は厚生労働省の会議室で、
医療問題の議論ごっこ。
この議論ごっこはなかなか壮観で
おもしろいが、
文庫が出るまで待って読めば十分かなという内容。

最近やや海堂作品は、
病院を舞台にした人間ドラマありの小説というより、
小説という名を借りた、
医療問題評論に傾きがちな気がする。

それはそれでおもしろいが、
チームバチスタやジェネラルルージュなど、
背景に社会問題がありながらも、
あくまで病院を舞台にしたヒューマンドラマの方が、
はるかにおもしろいと私は思う。

まさしく海堂カラー全開ですね。物語自体は過去のテーマを踏襲していて安心して楽しめます。(ジェネラルに近い。)まあ、この作品は過去の作品と今後の作品のジョイントとして必読になるでしょうから読んでおいた方が良いでしょう。かなり舞台が広がってくる予告だらけで、この先の作品の方が気になってきます。
