特にオススメ出来ると思います。

「現在プロとして本を出しているライトノベル作家の人たちは、一体どのような紆余曲折を経て、今の場所にいるのだろう？」

現在進行形でライトノベル作家を目指す方は、一度はそんなことを考えたことがあるのではないでしょうか？

この本の中では、
『キノの旅』の時雨沢恵一先生を筆頭に、
様々な作品の先生方へのインタビューが載っており、そこには、
『就職に全部落ちて、せっぱ詰まって書きました』とか、
『「就職書類を出版社に送った」と大学の先生にいいました』
等、いかにしてかの著名な先生方が小説を書き始め、作家を志し、デビューを果たしたのかなどが、赤裸々に掲載されています。（合計５８人）

僕はコレを読み、今までどこか遠い存在であった先生方が、急に身近に感じるようになりました。

また、人気イラストレーターさん８人（ヤスダタダヒト先生、藤田香先生、日向悠二先生、山本ヤマト先生、山本ケイジ先生、Ｔｏｉ８先生、灰村キヨタカ先生、佐藤利幸先生）の方々のイラスト＆インタビューも掲載されているので、彼らのファンの方も要チェック。

この本はいいですよ。注目の作家やお気に入りの作家にインタビューして、生の声を聞くことができます。作家たちが日頃から考えていることや生活のスタイルなどもわかり、作品が生み出されていく背景がわかったような気がします。
ファンにはたまらない内容です。

　「このライトノベルがすごい！」の姉妹版（というかさすがに名前がまぎらわしい）ではあるんですが、記事の傾向はかなりちがいます。「このラノ」は雑誌的な造りで、作品紹介を中心に手広くさまざまな話題を扱っていたのに対して、本書は作家（一部イラストレイター)のインタビュー、コメント、対談を収めるというシンプルな方針で増刊号的な感じです。

　個人的にはねらい所がはっきりしている分、本書の方が内容が濃く、読み応えがあるように感じます。特にインタビューはかなりしっかりした内容なので、興味がある作家のインタビュー記事があるならば読む価値はあると思います（僕の場合は豪屋大介とうえお久光）。
