「セキュリティーのことってあまり知らないなぁ…」と思い買った本である。私がこの手の話題にうといせいか、それなりに勉強になりました。
直接的にセキュリティーに関する内容は「メールの添付ファイルはむやみに開くべからず！」のような当たり前の内容から、IEの設定を変えることによってセキュリティーを強化する方法やアンチウィルスソフトの使い方などちょっと面倒そうな内容まで紹介されている。この本に書いてあるとおり実行すれば確実にセキュリティーを強化できると思われる。初版が2002年2月ということでこの手の本としては少し古いですが、Windows XPのセキュリティーについて書かれているので、2005年8月からしばらくは十分読む価値のある本だと思います。

パソコンを初めて購入したけど、右も左も分からないという人向けの本です。ほんとの入門書です。
よくパソコン雑誌でセキュリティ特集のようなものがありますが、それを読んでも１から説明されていないので分からないと感じる人は、本書を読んでみるとよいでしょう。
