政治から芸能界、日本から世界に至るまで、世紀末社会のさまざまな問題を過激に斬る彼らの名を、一躍天下に知らしめた一冊。
爆笑問題の原点ともいうべき本。社会現象を鋭い笑いに摩り替える先鋭的な漫才は、ここから始まったと言っても過言ではない。

　爆笑問題が世に送り出した単行本の記念すべき第一弾『日本原論』。処女作ながら、爆笑問題の本質が惜しみなく織り込まれた彼等の最高傑作。漫才の洗練度は勿論の事、様々なジャンルの社会問題を見事に痛烈風刺した至宝の作品です。現在大活躍中の彼らですが、テレビでは見せない、否、恐らく見せられないであろう危険な批判や面白い見解をふんだんに魅せ付けてくれます。
　初めてこの本を読んだのは出版直後の中学生時代でしたが、国内政治から国際関係、芸能に社会問題まであらゆるジャンルに及ぶ彼等の漫才は衝撃でした。あれから何年も経た今でもその鮮やかさが色褪せないのは、偏に彼等の正当性に依るところでしょう。この本を口切に様々な単行本が出版され、その各々が痛快な魅力を持っていますが、それらを以ってしても未だ爆笑問題の最高傑作を譲らない不動の名作です。
　漫才ブームと称される今日ですが、爆笑問題はそんな一時の流行だけで世に出たラッキーマンではない事を身をもって痛感させられると共に、今後の芸能界を背負う人材の中に彼等の様な存在が居る事は非常に頼もしくも思います。本当ならば、五つ星でも足りない位の傑作です。

爆笑問題の美味しいところがたっぷり詰まった、切れ味抜群の奇跡のような一冊。初めて読んだときは、悶絶して死にそうになったくらいだ。
誇張表現ではない。今の爆笑問題もいい味でているが、この痛快な毒の嵐はこのとき特有のものだ。
