英作文、ひいては英語そのものの力の土台を作るための例文集です。
タイトルどおり３００個の例文を一つづつ見開き２ページで、左ページに日本文、右ページに英文と直訳調の日本語、ページ下のスペースで文法・語法の解説と、非常にシンプルな構成になっております。改訂されてCDが付属されるようになりました。
この本のいいところは、一つ一つの例文に偏りなく理詰めの解説が加えられていることと、例文が文法項目ごとに配置されていて、一冊やり終えれば文法の基礎が一通り出来上がるようになっていることでしょう。３００個という数も多すぎず少なすぎず、いい感じです。
また、超基本の文法書としても使えます。意外と細かいニュアンスを解説している項目（未来の表現の微妙なニュアンスの違いや、unlessとif、withoutとinstead ofの使い分け方など)もあるので、やり終えた今でも気になったら参照しています。
英語の問題に多くあたればわかってきますが、例文は過去に早稲田の法学部で出た条件英作文や、その他の大学で出た文法問題から引用したもので編集されています。
この本の例文３００個全部覚えて、なおかつ１つ１つの例文の重要な文法事項を理解して自分で説明できるぐらいになれば、地味ですけど確実に力つきますよ。英語力に少し、でも確かな重みが加わるのを実感できると思います。

これはかなり使えます。自分は試験直前期の二月のあたまに購入したのですが、分量もさほど多くなくて全部やり終えることができ、リスニング対策にも活用しました。また例文自体も文法の確認としても使えますし、自分で少し工夫すれば、この３００選だけでなく、様々な言い回しを考えれるようになるでしょう。とにかく効率的な活用法は、全部この本の例文を覚える事です。そうすれば、英作文は恐れるに足りないでしょう。

付属のＣＤがとても使いやすいです。
なぜなら、１文につき２回読んでくれるからです。

強く読む位置を確認したくても、１回聞いただけでは把握できません。
その結果、巻き戻してもう一度聞く羽目になります。
２回の音読は、そのような面倒を省いてくれます。

この本をやって、１文につき１回しか吹き込んでいない教材をやると、とても勉強しにくく感じました。
１文につき２回読むというアイデアが優れていることを実感しました。
