タイ料理大好きだけど料理名が覚えられない私にとってこの本は、凄く助けになるし、タイ語も出てるので簡単に注文出来る。写真は沢山載ってるし、タイに行った時にこの本を持ってたら食べる事には困らない。
自分が美味しいと思った料理を本でチェックしていけば自分なりの好きな料理を覚えるのも楽だし、こんなに便利な本を始めてみました。今は日本にも沢山のタイ料理屋さんがあって色々な料理が頼めるけどこの本があれば日本でも美味しいタイ料理が満喫出来る事間違いなし。

　タイ語が多少話せる私もこの本があれば今よりもっとタイで充実した旅行が出来ます。お食事の作法まで載ってて本当に親切な本でした。

タイには度々行くのですが、この本は良いポイントを押さえてますね。
美味しいんだけどあまり英語が通じないって屋台なんかでも、希望のメニューを頼む事が出来て幸せでした。
作者の岡本さんが抱いているタイへの愛情がギュンギュン伝わる一冊です。

旅行記の類はたくさん出ているが、これは異色です。どういう点でかというと、繰り返し読めるということです。カオサン暮らしを書いたもの、あの本は一回読めば売り飛ばせばよいです、ま、それなりに面白いですけど。あと下川さんの本は文章がうまいということで繰り返し読むのに耐えます。で、この岡本さんの本は、内容がいい。タイ屋台料理が急に変わるなんてないから、なかなか古くならない。とにかく買って損はありませんよ！
