　NHKの番組「にほんごであそぼ」でおじいさんと孫が「子曰わく、吾れ十有五にして学に志ざす。・・・」と仲良く暗誦する姿を見て、ほほえましいというかうらやましく思っていました。

　この本は論語の中から子供にも参考になるであろう１３が選ばれていています。右のページに論語、左にはわかりやすい言葉で説明が書いてあります。例えば右ページ「子曰わく、過ぎたるは猶お 及ばざるがごとし。」左ページ「先生はいわれた。『ゆきすぎは、たりないのとおなじじゃ。かたよらないのがいいのだ』とふりがなつきの大きな文字で表記されています。
　わたしが声に出して読んでいると、１歳９ヶ月の娘が本を取り上げて

ごにょごにょまねし始めました。カラフルでかわいいイラストが幼児にも興味をそそるのでしょうか。本当は星５つにしたいけど、イラストの仕上げ方がずらしたようになっていて、じっと見てるとチラチラしてきたのでそれだけが、ちょっと気になってしまいました。でもこれから長く付き合える本だと思います。わたしのボケ防止にもいいかも！

　以前子供と読める論語の本を探しましたが、どれも難しく子供と気軽に論語を楽しむことはあきらめていました。かといって本格的に子供と論語に取り組むまでは私にはできず、日々過ぎていたところこの本に出会えました。論語の文はかなり短めにセレクトされていて、ちょっと物足りないところもありますが、お休み前の寝床で子供と論語が読めるのも斉藤先生のこの企画本のおかげにて星５つです。斉藤先生は子供たちが素晴らしい言葉に興味をもって、全体的に落ちてしまった国語力を改善させるために大変貢献されていると思います。

この本は、音読することで楽しさがそのリズムや流れがわかり
とても楽しい本です。論語は、子供にはちょっと難しいのかな
と思いましたが、リズムがよいので、子供も非常に面白がって
います。

本文と解説がきちんと対になっているのも嬉しいです。
簡単でしかも深い本だと思います
